Moving On Up! Game

Surviving School Transition for 10 to 12 Year Olds

This is a unique and fun way to introduce 10 to 12 year olds to the issues involved in school transition. This unique board game prepares students for making the transition to a new school - whether from elementary to middle or primary to secondary.

Using four sets of question cards, covering motivation, solution, school, and responsibility, students will learn about secondary school life and develop awareness, as well as personal and social skills, which will promote positive progress in their new school.

The object of the game is to collect 25 counters and get all the players to school. The game is cooperative - there is no individual winner, either everyone wins or everyone loses.

Includes: 1 game board; 4 sets of 20 cards; 6 character game pieces; 1 die; 1 timer; 50 counters in a bag + instruction card; boxed.
