In Join My Team, players learn the positive actions and pitfalls that lead to work team success or disaster. Players must think critically in order to assess the value of problem solving suggestions. They also must deal with unhelpful team members in their search for the best solution. In this way the game teaches both the problem solving and interpersonal aspects of working in teams. In the post-game discussion, players focus on behaviors that help the group process move forward and avoid behaviors that are counterproductive.
