About Faces Card Game & Workbook (w/ CD) Set

Recognizing the feelings of others is a vital skill for all social interaction. Although words, tone of voice, and gestures are also important, the most reliable way to learn the feelings of others is through observing facial expressions. Many children, including those on the autism spectrum, have trouble "reading" the feelings from observing facial expressions.

The About Faces Card Game includes 52 cards with faces representing thirteen different feelings. By practicing matching the feelings and the faces, children learn to read facial expressions, which is a critical social interaction skill.

The About Faces Workbook contains the same 52 faces, together with quotations representing the feelings expressed in the faces and open-ended questions designed to help children link expressions with feelings. Both products help children recognize, express, and explore their feelings and the feelings of others.

**Includes a CD for the illustrations and workbook questions to be printed out and used with children, clients, students, etc.

Card Game and Workbook also sold individually.
