The purpose of the 'Teens Talk About Worries' cards is to facilitate the expression and sharing of normal adolescent anxieties as well as concerns generated by living in today's world.
Each of the cards presents a primary worry question, three follow-up questions, and some suggestions for discussion about that particular worry. The discussion segments are included to encourage further dialog and to stimulate the participants to think through the problems presented.
The cards are an excellent way to initiate discussion with adolescents and teens about the many concerns which face them during this trying period of their lives. The cards help explore strategies for well-being and problem-solving.
