Substance Abuse Prevention Game Cube

Our Substance Abuse Prevention Game Cube is for serious conversations about how the use and abuse of alcohol, drugs and tobacco can effect your family and friends, school or work situations, as well as your body - both physically and mentally.

Directions: The Substance Abuse Prevention Game Cube provides an excellent way for students to have fun while they learn. Use it at home or in the classroom for a great way to discuss substance abuse. Simply toss or roll the cube to someone, when it comes to rest use the substance in combination with the scenario shown to initiate a conversation.

Works great as an ice-breaker in one-on-one situations or when used as a discussion tool for the entire group or class. Use the "starter" word on the inside cube in combination with the substance depicted on the outside cube to start a conversation. Example: If the upward facing substance is "Alcohol" and the upward facing scenario on the inside cube reads "Family" then the student would give an example of how alcohol might affect their family. There are sample questions included to help get discussions started.
