Putting Words To Work Game
In Putting Words to Work, players learn vital communication skills as they help Olin, the star of a new TV series, handle problems with bosses, co-workers, and customers. Players help Olin be assertive (yet respectful), disagree without lowering the self-esteem of others, use facts to be persuasive, show empathy, etc. Players also use tone of voice and body language to enhance the effectiveness of Olin's communication skills.
A 17" x 22" color poster is included. Teachers are encouraged to keep the poster up in subsequent classes for continued reinforcement of the communication skills.
