Four important counseling games which cover a wide variety of issues are included in this package: Talking Tools (10 Therapy Games in One); the Positive Thinking Game; My Ups and Downs Therapy Card Game; and the fun Solution Ball.
Talking Tools (10 Therapy Games in One)
Talking Tools includes ten different games. Eight of the games are discussion-oriented games covering the topics of frustration management, expression of feelings, friendship, safety, cooperation, divorce, bereavement and self-concept.
Two additional games are intended to help children understand the 'cause and effect' of their behaviors and to help them cope with a hospital stay.
Designed by a school psychologist, each game takes only 30 minutes to play. The board games are bound into a spiral book and all the game parts fit into a convenient plastic envelope, providing great portability.

Positive Thinking Game
The Positive Thinking Game is particularly helpful in addressing emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, anger and low self-esteem.
This exceptional therapeutic game maintains the premise that thought is the source of many of our emotional states. By becoming more aware of our self-talk and cognitive responses to situations, we can better control or select emotions.

These large (3.5" x 5.75"), colorful cards feature 17 captivating kids who express 34 different emotions. Children can compare their own feelings with those depicted on the cards. This is a flexible tool that can be used in a number of ways--you can play memory games, make up stories, or play a new form of Old Maid (complete instructions included).

A whole new ball game! The Solution Ball is covered with statements or strategies that help kids and teens find solutions when they are "stuck". Catch the ball, and wherever the player's right thumb lands indicates the strategy to use in dealing with a particular problem. There are 20 options in all.
Easy and fun to use, in group counseling sessions, in the classroom, or for individual use.
Comes deflated - inflates to approximately 8" in diameter.
